Conflict Minerals Sourcing Policy
Policy on Conflict Minerals Sourcing
Given that some of the metal minerals have become the main source of finance for armed rebel groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa, they are used to trade arms, perpetuate their bloody conflict with the country, and ravage the local civilian population, thus causing international controversy. Longlin declares and undertakes not to accept the use of metals from conflict mining areas; At the same time, Longlin's suppliers are also required to: 1) fulfill their social and environmental responsibilities; 2) Ensure that products do not use "conflict minerals" from the DRC and its surrounding countries and regions; 3) Trace the source of gold, tantalum, tin and tungsten contained in all products. 4) Communicate this requirement to upstream suppliers. Note: Suppliers should refrain from sourcing 3TG minerals (gold/Au, tantalum/Ta, tungsten/W, and tin/Sn) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or adjacent countries, and the company strictly adheres to the DRC Mineral Conflict Requirement and requires all suppliers to comply with this requirement. Suppliers ensure that their commitments are complied with through written commitments and by accepting verification and monitoring. When auditing suppliers, companies should review the origin of their incoming raw materials to verify that their products are not 3TG minerals.
